Jeff Wilcox

Business Development/Marketing Manager

Jeff Wilcox serves as the Business Development and Marketing Manager at Schwam-Wilcox & Associates, where he plays a key role in fostering connections between the firm and the community it serves. “We want to help bring positive change and outcomes to our community.”

Jeff’s professional journey began with a focus on education, earning an Associate’s degree from Valencia Community College before completing his Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies with a minor in History at the University of Central Florida in 2005. During his time at Montreat College on a soccer scholarship, Jeff developed a passion for collaboration and community building, which he later brought into his career as a certified teacher with Orange County Public Schools.

After gaining experience in advertising and promotions, Jeff joined Schwam-Wilcox & Associates in 2012. Since then, he has worked to expand the firm’s outreach and strengthen its relationships with local organizations.

Jeff is a Membership Ambassador and Founding Member of the Golf Ambassador’s Association at the Citrus Club, a participant in the college football committee and a member of the Winter Park, Maitland and Seminole County Chambers of Commerce. “I love being a part of the community I work and live in. The opportunity to work with these great people will ensure the future of our community and the future of Schwam-Wilcox & Associates.”

Jeff has led efforts to align Schwam-Wilcox & Associates with events such as charity fundraisers, food drives, silent auctions and local outreach projects. These activities reflect the firm’s belief that engaging with the community is not only a responsibility but also an opportunity to contribute to its growth and vitality.

Outside of work, Jeff enjoys spending time with his family, playing soccer, boating and exploring outdoor activities. He sees every connection made through his role as a step toward building a stronger, more inclusive community.

Firm Administrator

Debbie joined Schwam-Wilcox & Associates in September 2016, as our Firm Administrator. She brought with her a strong background in customer service and a wealth of entrepreneurial experience. She was previously the founder and owner of a small graphic design and computer training company.

Before joining Schwam-Wilcox & Associates, Debbie dedicated several years to raising her three children and spent eight years as a teacher and corporate trainer. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida.

Debbie’s attention to detail, exceptional customer service skills, and genuine passion for helping others make her a valuable resource for our clients.

She is actively involved in the community through volunteer work with several organizations, and loves being a part of our team!

Staff Member Giomayra Glass

Gio X. Walker

Paralegal

Giomayra joined Schwam-Wilcox & Associates in October 2014 as the Client Coordinator and has been promoted to paralegal. Giomayra’s past work experience includes six years in the areas of Consumer Credit Counseling and Home Buyer Education Counseling with a non-profit organization, focusing in the area of debt consolidation, pre-filing Bankruptcy, and educational credit counseling. Giomayra is very compassionate and caring and strives to give her most undivided attention to each and every client. Giomayra’s leadership and organizational skills allow her to assist clients through what may be their most troubling times. Giomayra keeps busy with her daughter, who is a World Champion Martial Arts Athlete and actress. Her daughter was recently featured in the movie Logan “Wolverine 3” as a mutant and part of the stunt team. She recently gave birth to her 2nd baby girl who has completed their Family.

Shannon Mata

Paralegal

Shannon Mata joined Schwam-Wilcox & Associates in May 2020. She has 8 years of experience in the Bankruptcy field as a legal assistant and paralegal. She has helped clients prepare and file for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy relief and has also worked on the creditor side in Chapter 13 Bankruptcy. Shannon grew up in Northern Virginia and moved to Orlando in 2018. She loves spending time with her husband and their dog, Shaggy.

Cecilia West

Paralegal

Cecilia West joined Schwam-Wilcox & Associates in March 2025. She has over two decades of experience in the legal field and is a dedicated and compassionate Family Law Paralegal.

While Cecilia is known for her exceptional organizational and communication skills, she ensures each client is provided with dignity and compassion and understands they are experiencing some of the most difficult moments in their lives. Her passion for helping others and her commitment to delivering exceptional service drives her to exceed client expectations.

In her free time, Cecilia enjoys spending time with her Husband. Together they have 4 children, 5 grandchildren, and 2 cats. She is a lover of all animals, big and small.

Ashley Fisak

Legal Assistant

Ashley Fisak comes to us from the world of real estate. Since 2015 she has helped many families navigate one of the biggest decisions they would ever make with compassion, enthusiasm, and expertise. She brings that same compassion and enthusiasm to Schwam- Wilcox and Associates. Joining the team with legal experience from the 9 years that she worked at the State Attorney’s Office. She worked as a legal secretary in several criminal felony divisions while her husband was a graduate student at UCF. She is looking forward to being an asset to the team.

Ashley is a strong supporter of community involvement. She is an active member of the Rotary Club of Seminole County Sunset. She and her children volunteer with multiple organizations throughout Orange and Seminole county. Ashley and her husband moved to Florida in 1997, and they have two children. If she isn’t spending time with her family, she is supporting Opera Orlando, along with other community arts programs, and playing mahjong!

Amy Watson

Legal Assistant

Amy Watson is a former school teacher in a self-contained, special needs classroom setting.  She enjoyed helping and watching her students learn and grow. Amy worked for the firm assisting with bankruptcy matters 2016-2017, and she has now returned to the firm in July 2022. She has BA with Dual Majors in Anthropology, Sociology and Education PreK through 12th grade. Amy is empathetic and caring, she enjoys helping other people. Amy is Married with three Children:  one son who is married and practicing law in the area of real estate, a daughter who works for a corporate law firm,  and her youngest daughter is still in college. Amy loves to travel and spend time with her husband and family. 

Hillary Brodsky

Legal Assistant

Hillary Brodsky joined Schwam-Wilcox & Associates in August 2024. She is a former educator who left work as a teacher when she started a family. After taking some time off to be with her small children, Hillary began working in customer service within the insurance industry. Her strong background in customer service and the compassion and skills she strengthened while teaching translate directly into her role at the firm. Hillary was recently promoted to Legal Assistant, where she continues to support our team with dedication and professionalism. She efficiently manages clients’ needs, ensures smooth coordination, and delivers exceptional service that exceeds expectations. Outside of work, Hillary enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and two children.

Jessica Bernard

Client Coordinator

Jessica joined Schwam-Wilcox & Associates in June 2025. With a background in customer service and early childhood education, she brings organization, attention to detail, and care to her work. As a fitness enthusiast and mother of two, she excels at managing multiple priorities with energy and patience. Her commitment to personal growth and resilience supports her ability to coordinate effectively and provide excellent service to clients.
